MultiLog MLE 4-12 Data Acquistion Module

MultiLog is a general purpose, four channel, data acquisition module for laboratory or field measurement applications.

With a choice of ten programmable voltage ranges and true differential or unipolar inputs MultiLog is suited to a wide range of industry standard sensors. In addition, the installation of on-board shunt resistors extends its capabilities to include current measurement. A software selectable offset maximises resolution when using 4 - 20mA sensors.

Each channel is supported by an independent, user adjustable, sensor power supply with a programmable settling delay to provide a controlled stabilisation period prior to measurement. Sensors can also be programmed to remain on.

Setup and data transfer is accomplished via a standard RS232 interface which makes the unit ideal for both local and remote applications. The simple interface provides a straight-forward connection to off-the-shelf GPRS and LPRS modules for truly remote operation.

Integrated Data Logger
An optional MMC memory module can be installed to convert MultiLog into a fully fledged, standalone, data logger capable of collecting up to one million measurement sets. The logging interval is controlled by the on-board real time clock which can be programmed via the RS232 interface.
